.. compared to 2004?

I would say yes because Trance becomes again a bit more uplifting since 2004 and there is a big amount of beautiful vocal tracks which have been released this year although it's not even passed half of the year, so we can expect much more to come.

We can also look forward to many quality CD releases like ISOS4, POD2 and many artist albums for example by Armin, Markus, PVD, MIKE and many many more. I'm quite sure they won't disappoint us.

What is your opinion on the topic? What makes the year good, what bad so far?

there hasn't been a "good" year of "trance" since 2001

Most people here don't seem to like uplifting and vocal tracks anymore.
Anyway I think it's definetly promising

i'd say it's a rather average year so far.. not that many tracks that stand out unfortunately
