I'm not saying he's the best remixer cause I don't really believe that there is one. But, Matt Darey has some good remixes. My favorite would be his remixes of the Erasure songs "Oh L'Amour" and "Rapture". Also, Ferry Corsten and Tiesto's remixes are almost always good. You should check out DJ Scot Project Remixes, FeNiX.

I guess it would depend on which sub-genre of trance you're focusing upon. For myself, ferry corsten & rank 1 are tied for uplifting trance while dj scott project is best for hard trance. PVD is best for his own style of german trance. get the picture guys?
