HI Folks,

Sry for writing in english, but I unfortunately don't speak any portugese and didn't know where else to post this. I'm from Hamburg, Germany and I'm staying from 8th to 30th July in São Paulo, Brasil visiting the family of the former exchange student of my cousin. I don't know yet, what these people have already planned for that time, but are there any decent (Trance-) Events or Clubs in the area of São Paulo at that time? Would perhaps be nice to meet some Brasilian Trance Addicts there. What in general is the nightlife like in that city?

If you go to the top clubs in the city, maybe you can hear some trance, techno...

But you should check some Rave, but it's for psy trance only... This is the only way you can get some live action without DJs playing CDs.

Well I'm not too much into psy trance. ;-)

However - could you give me some details? I don't know anything about clubs/raves or events over there.

I don't know the São Paulo club's because I'm from a near city (Campinas , about 1 hour from São Paulo).

But if you want to check some open air raves, check this website on the days that you will be here (most of the partys doesn't have the lineup yet):

Hi, thx so far for the info. I got another question where can i book best an inner-country flight for brazil? From sao paulo -> bahia salvador -> sao paulo during the time period i'm there. Would be good, if i could book this in english.
