they're all gonna be expensive unfortunately.... the cheaper you get, usually the more CRAP the tunes are (it doesnt necessarily work the other way though)
try zulu records on 4th.. upstairs they have a good selection of trance, *ibiza* stuff and global underground etc.
you can also listen to ALL cds before you buy, even tho they're new.

hmv at metro isnt that great actually. most of their selection is outdated and hella expensive. yes, its actually cheaper to buy cd's at virgin. prices at virgin are actually not so bad, imo. just consier that most of them are double cd's and are imported. so its almost like buying 2 cd's
a&b sound, hmm, i dunno, i personally wouldnt go there to buy trance cd's, not here in van anyways...
