How to make a tech-house bass?

Hello comrads..

I have been wondering, for quite some time now, how to create that specific tech-house bass (Fx. Real booty Babes, Benni Benassi etc.)

The synth sound I can hopefully do myself, but do I need sidechain compression to "build" a bass like that ? And how ?

Hopefully someone will help.. Thanks in advance!

benassi sound:
- overcompressed kick
- reverbed bass with compression on it afterwards and after that, sidechaining with the kick

man don't say it's stupid just cuz he does it not the best way really...anyway his satisfaction is quite inovative (that's admirable at least) and he introduced a "new technique" so that's quite admirable too...

and one more thing i heard the same bass technique in tracks by unsigned artists and it was really good so...

anyway the classic benassi bass is cheeeeeeeeeeeese as hell now...
but...hey...so is the supersaw uhhh?

you don't like it just cuz it's overplayed

not that I do

Please keep off-topic posts like that out.. I wasn't looking for your opinion about the bass, I was only hoping some guy would answer my question (which has already been done). I was also only poiting out examples, it didn't have to be Bennassis bass - Just a tech-house sorta bass..

Besides, Bennasi ain't cheese
