Hey Zac,

I like the dirty bass..

I think the kick is a bit too punchy, needs a little more low end.

You did a great job creating drive with your percs, though the hi hats sound a little thin & dry - maybe some reverb would fatten them up a bit?

The main lead is cool, though a lil harsh on the ears. Maybe some LFO action on the filter would help.

I like the way you come out of the break - lots of energy, though things sound a little muffled.

Overall, I enjoyed the tune, thanks for sharing

Keep it up,
Trev

Hey. Thanks for the comments man. I agree completely . Thats one thing I'm trying to work out in this track is my kick style and my overall approach to percussion. I think one thing thats causing the kick to be lacking on the low-ends is the stereo comander I'm using on it. It has a tendency to cut the lows out. I'll see about compensating for that a little better. As for the melodies and a few other sounds being harsh, I know about that issue. Its in the 5000Hz band I think. That tends to be the range that causes the most discomfort and I started noticing it last night but fixed it this afternoon. I'll try to have another update in not too long. Thanks again .

Cheers,
Zac

Hey,
Listening .... To me Percussions sounds cool, Well compresseds, the kick yup, I agree with the other comment someone already said, but it's a minus . Nice Melodies u got on there, kinda old school happy stuff , the bass sounds fine, but I would add another bassline with a bass into the background imo. Breakdown, wicked pads u got on there man , thel ead that appears, is a bit plane though, about the dinamycs, bu doies the job perfectly, wow thos epads are really cool man, now I am liking them even more .
In overall, very good track, the breakdown is my prefered part, I dotn have a real complaint about, good work mate .
Kopi =o.

Hey. Thank you very much . I'll be releasing a ton of tracks in the next few days so watch for them. Most of them have much different feels from this track but all with ethereal pads .

Cheers,
Zac

I love the main lead that comes in during the breakdown! I really love a strong sound like that! Bassline sounds great. Something's catching me as not quite right w/ the drums. Maybe it's the little muffled kick pattern, not the main kick, sorry I'm not describing it well, but it's through the beginning then drops out then comes back later. At first I thought it sounded kind of cool, but then when it drops out I think it sounds better???? Strings are great as others have mentioned. Good work!

hi zac
been waiting for you to post a tune
the percs in teh beginning sound good
but i like the little arp you have there
the clap doesnt seem loud enough to me either
the bassline is pretty good though, i like the synth you use
215, i like the pads you introduce here alot, they are very nice
230, i like the pad melody you introduce here
good climax to the breakdown, a bit different than i am used to, but nice =)
425, sounds like you let the bass back in too strong, or the other synths not strong enough, just for a moment it sounds like that though
i think maybe you can add a bit more percussion, becasue it feels kind of dry on that aspect, but the rest of it is very nice, and i enjoyed it
