STRAIGHT TO THE DUMPSTER.
Just kidding. OK, the intro bassline is cool...and the intro lead has enough reverb, but man, the kick and the hi-hats have TOO MUCH. Don't use reverb on a kick unless it's just a gated reverb that is not going to muddy up your mix. The hi-hats just need enough to give them space and ambience. Your kick is lousy...you need something more beefy to drive the song. Would you drive a song by silently moving your fingers in a see-saw way like the director of an orchestra or symphony or would you drive it by banging a solid concrete wall with a mallet and kicking a big garbage dumpster? Think about that. Your bassline needs to be less loud...it shouldn't be the MAIN thing you hear, it should be back-up to help run the track. At least close the cut-off for a while and open it when something else is going to happen. You need more elements, like claps, guiros, etc...anything that changes the rhythm and adds character to it. You need stuff to keep the song interesting...your song doesn't have melody, it is only "running". You need to change chords and add more elements. At least it sounds trancier than my first tracks. Experiment, man. If I had the time, I would do the same...I would follow the things I am saying. But unfortunately, all I can do is make a half-ass rhythm or incomplete tracks and post them to get advice on what to do when I get a chance to work on them. I hope you got something out of this.

To me it sounds like you used some hi-hat sample with a couple ms of silence in front of it. It really sounds like the hi-hat is trying to catch up with the rest of the track but can't accomplish that. It's kinda off-beat in a very anoying way...

The track to me sounds abit "raw" and the kick sound like a mark norman one... i liked that alot but still need some tweeking. the off beat hi hat has to be cut slighty as like some mentioned before its got like a tiny moment of silence at the beginingand thus this trows off your whole mix.

not a bad track tho mate. just keep working like you are doing.

You might want to do something like www.soundclick.com for free hosting. It's not much, but it's better than geocities constantly telling people that it doesn't like them.
