err...if u're editing bitmap graphics (ie. jpg, bmp, gif etc.)

...then u have to cut & paste (or...cut, rotate, paste, fill-in the gaps).

if u have vector graphics (not sure if supported by photoshop, but would expect so)...then u should just be able to rotate is...but i would assume most people are working with bitmaps

can u post the pic, so we can see what u want to do?

oops...silly me...didn't read the last sentence

hehehe...ya in that case...use the lasso tool & trace around the arm...if u're lucky, try the colour lasso & see if it can pick out the arm by itself...then u should be able to rotate the selection & paste.

i think that should be about it...tho i can't be sure as i really don't use photoshop at all...for some reason i use corel...prolly 'cos i've just gotten used to it over the years

U should actualyl Scew it... that way only one side of the image will move up and down.rather than the whole ting moving and u replacing the image to its original position... if u know what i mean...

Edit>Transform>Scew

Thats the menu it should be under.

it may look shitty, but cut it, make a new image, paste your cut into the new image, rotate as desired, cut again, paste into image of choice.
later
