wave hammer help
When i compress my mixes using Soundforge Wave Hammer presets, the trebles still seem very high.
I have been using the 'Mastering for 16 bit' normally. I've tried all the others but I seem to face the same problem.
When I'm mixing I make sure the mids and highs dont go pass the mid section but still the final product sounds so 'treble-intensive'
Any good mastering presets for the wavehammer?
Also, is a smooth attack/decay time better for the bass?
I'm sure there must be some of you out there who have some tried and tested presets for wave-hammering/mastering mixes.
Last Q... how many times should i compress my mix?
I know there's a thread on mastering n stuff but its more tailored to individual productions, which each is unique.
So I figured there had to be a 'generic' settings template for mixes.
Help will be very much appreciated!
