Well, it's one of my favorite trance labels, considering what's been released on it in the past. The tracks do have a different "sound", similar to Hooj etc.

i dont think they have released anything amazing recently...

Turkish Bizarre is the pick of the bunch for sure.

Platipus will always be legendary for their earlier stuff.....

they was a great label, one of the most influential trance labels of the mid 90's, well renowned for the acidy trance releases. i would say that with the artwork change in the late 90's, musicwise the label changed also, and sure it was ok but i think it just got worse at a certain point, i don't like the platipus of today as much as i like the early platipus sound, but it's pretty pointless to dream of that simon berry and his partners in crime produces something as exciting as "there will be no armageddon" or "wildlife on one" or produce an amazing compilation like "platipus records volume one" + "platipus records volume two"
