Typical Tasks and Responsibilities: "Generate a list of this from the database, throw it into a spreadsheet and fire it off to the boss" "Document every variable used by this function/class/whatever" "Here's a bunch of fields. Make me a HTML form. Have that form put them into a db. Make a query to grab them from the DB and display them" "Change every instance of this variable to this variable." "Double Cream, Double Sugar" etc. etc.
