This is going to be my final Ascenion and Destiny party. In my review I will give you only the turth and nothing but the turth.
(I'm not the type to give BS reviews about the night )
Why do I have to suffer so much to see MZone everytime ??? WEMF99 & 2000 and this party. Due to the snowstorm in Winnipeg, his flight was delyaed for two hrs and I had to listen to Dr. Crapp until 4am. (Which I have to add "worest set ever..... where did you find those records ??? Bargin bin at KMART ??? *Comic store guy from Simpson's pronunciation* Only 1 track I enjoyed from DR.Crapp's set ... it was the Mauro Picotto track which I don't know the name of. %The one with the BAD ASS deep bass!!!% However, it seems like DR.Crapp's sets get worse and worse ... everytime I see him.)
I HATE ALL AGES !!! Saw so many minors running around playing tag all night (WTF???!!!) The attendence was very low for a Acension and also it was their 2 yr Anniversary party. (30% of the venue was filled) Never will I attend a all age party ... unless it's SonicState.

Trinty Project (Winnipeg) Started very dull and slow,but took off very quickly. I enjoyed this set and the final track made my night !!!

- "John 'OO' Flemming - Essence of Life !!! ( I love this track so freakin' much and thought I would never get to hear this track live !!!)
M-Zone (UK) Just as I expected from the guy I suffer so much to see everytime. HARD,DARK and seriously BAD ASS. His mixing was very smooth and I couldn't even hear the upcoming tracks coming in. Too Bad (like I said before ... just like AvB,Sandra Collins and other parties) I had to leave before the set finshed .... Way too tired and Dr.Crapp's set put me in such a bad mood. I was happy when M- Zone hit the decks but pretty pissed off when I walked out of Palais Royale.
Overall it was a good party, b/c of the tracks from some of the DJs spun, seeing M-Zone again and espicially hangin' with my girl and close friends !!!

Also I forgot to add on my review ... Ascenion will move to TURBO (starting next month)in the main floor. Honestly, this has to be the most stupidest thing Destiny has ever done. Due to the fact that any type of event that is held at Turbo, regardless if it's a regular clubb night ... it will die. Turbo is graveyard for promoters.
LifeForce,Syrous,JenStar and HeavyMusic ALL have failed to succeed at Turbo.

I really wanted to hit this, but alas i could not. I'm pretty pissed, but it sounds like the night was a letdown. Dr Trance for 4 hours...ouch. I'm sure Mzone was amazing as he always is. this guy never disapoints. How long did he spin for? Too bad the night sounded bad, destiny is usually top notch. oh well, hopefully he comes over here again soon.

Dr.Crapp was on for 2 hrs after Trinty Project.
M-Zone was on from 4am to 6am.
When Ascenion changed their venue from Industry to Atlantis ... to me Ascenion have already died at this point. I personaly think Destiny's parties have slowly become pretty lame .... party after party. The only parties I liked was WEMF99,Ascenion ??? (Jon the Dentist and Ollye J)and Ascenion 14 with David Padilla.
The last Ascenion I attended before this one was ... the one with Adam from LAB4. I've noticed at this party that the attendence was thining out, but didn't expect it to be this empty for M-Zone.

LMAO ... I had a great time still !!! Because of the tracks I mentioned and hangin' with my friends ... but the party itself was pretty bad and Dr.Crapp's set was a living HELL. (The sad thing is ... that setup they had was the best Ascenion *lighting and decore*) If the headliner wasn't M-Zone ... I wouldn't even think of going to Destiny.

If Ascension moves venues to Turbo, and if Turbo maintains its 19+ rule at the door, Acension will lose 98% of their clientelle, due to not being old enough to enter. Personally, being the old fogie that I am, I would much prefer a 19+ crowd. I just don't know how well it will do there. I wish them all the best tho.

TatGirl, Destiny would never do that with Ascension. The only time I remember Destiny making 19+ event was Nick Warren (Amazing night), John Digweed and Sasha at Meow.
I went to Scott Stubbs@Turbo and it was all-ages with 19+ area. They will use the right side *up the stairs* lounge area for the 19+ area. Turbo is just way too loud !!! Thats the major reason why ppl tend to avoid this club.
