Idea for vst plugin

Why isnt there a vst plugin in which you can assign these:
- percussion
- bass low
- bas sub
- bas mid
- bas high
- melody 1
- melody 2
etc etc

and then it does the eq'ing automaticly (each element gets its own freq range) and afterwards there is a random function in which it adjusts the shelves so you can click till it has the desired sound...........

i mean, eq'ing is the hardest part in music creation i think, so why not automate it????

maybe there is already a program like this?

the waves plugins already do that kinda thing
there is presets within there plugins for that kinda thing

bass, leads, etc etc

but what im thinking is
not evertone wants the standard settings, alot of people like to edit there own eq settings to whatever suits them best.

you would be better off trying to EQ it yourself by ear, than to use those presets like that. everyones tracks are different, the same preset might sound good for you, but shit for me.

why not just automate your entire tracks...
using presets isnt going to get you anywhere. just a suggestion, but mabye try and learn at least the basics of EQ and mixing, it really would pay off. im still learning and reading about it myself, but from what i have learnt, it has helped my overall "sound" to a huge extent.

Or better yet, a plugin that arranges everything and has sound presets for different artists...so you can emulate their sound and style. Just install it ans sit back while it does its thing!

EDIT: Of course, I am just joking, hehe!

maybe because all basses don't sound the same, just like kicks, snares, leads, strings, etc. each bass needs different frequencies attenuated or amplified, so it is not possible to find the one you need. also, different mixing styles differ on what frequencies are changed.
your music sounds best when you choose sounds which need little or no eq whatsoever - an appropriate kick or bassline will not be good no matter the amount of eqing you use.
