Katana: Today I finished al the paperwork so I can now proudly announce the release of my next single. Randy Katana - “Pleasure Island” I have been playing the original for about a year now, so I think that a lot of you will say…hmmm I’ve heard that one before!!!. But together with the party organization of this summer’s mega outdoor-festival “Pleasure Island” on the Java Island in Amsterdam, we decided to make a theme version. It was a real challenge to remake the existing version into a theme song. But I must say that I’m really happy with the result. The release date will be around the beginning of July on the Reset label. After the release I will post the two versions here on the site.

This is trademark Katana, a superb release but not as good as One Solid Wave imo.
The Dub mix is my pick of the two, Katana plays with you for about three and a half minutes before turning on the juice to the maximum.
Another highly successful tribal-tech-trance hybrid.

i actually like the vocal mix that cor spun on his last etn radio show better than the dub version - and i am usually not a fan of vocal tracks.
