Need help with three tracks...
Hey, I'm new here and I thought you guys would be able to help me identify these three songs. They were on a CD a friend lent me about a year ago, which is now lost, and it wasn't labeled so I never knew the artists or titles at anytime.
The first one started out with a deep male voice saying "up up up up up, up up up up up, get up up up up up, up up up up up, get up up etc." So he was pretty much just saying "get up" at different intervals throughout the song. The only other lyrics were in a different language--German, I think-- and were in a loud, booming male voice. He would practically yell out this German phrase, and this happened when the music was quiet.
The second one was also pretty long, and had a deep male voice, too. He would say, "And God spoke to the people: Why are you so quiet?!" And then it would be silent for a second, then explode into the music. I think there were some other small lyrics in the song where "God" would be adressing the "people".
The third one stands out a bit more, as the lyrics are pretty unique. They were spoken in a conversation-like format in two mysterious, dreamy voices. The song started out like this:
man: "Do you know where you are?"
girl: "In bed?"
-pause-
girl: "Why won't you let me sleep?"
man: "Because I'm your nightmare"
So the song was taking place as a sort of nightmare/dream theme, and the music was this eerie 'popping' sound that would come and fade away a few times througout the song. Some of the lines I mentioned above were repeated a few times throughout the song (especially the "cause I'm your nightmare" line).
I would REALLY like to hear these songs again, so any help is appreciated. Thanks.
