pretty quiet in here?
strange, pretty busy on the other boards, but quiet in here. oh well, excuse me posting once again to my own post ... heh.
Anyway, time to get psyched up for this. Trying to put together a nice darkish set but damned if a nice order of records ain't gonna arrive on time. Everybody will have to excuse me if I drop to CD to play a few ripping toons ... it's the only way  . Now, let's see if I'll be able to use the damned CD mixers ... where's play? Where's play? haha. err. Crappy CDs.
Mmm speaking of vinyl, hot and ... errr, nevermind.
Anyway the point being the party is less than a week away and if you like trance, there will be trance like you've never heard before. I played a few tunes to a jungle lover (trance hater) and she said she hadn't ever heard trance like this before, and loved it. The techish stuff is techish, but bloody funky with crazy sounds. Some of these guys are just nuts with what they do: beats come out, beats go in, you never can guess what's up next. And the ripping stuff ... mmmm just you wait.
Anyway enough of my blather.  Enjoy!
p.s. for anyone connected to this scene, we just found out that GEM, the famous MP3 ripping group that is known for ripping big commercial psytrance releases along the lines of Logic Bomb, Infected Mushroom, Absolum, Wizzy Noise, etc. has just decided as an anniversary celebration to rip and/or re-release a bunch of CDs they really love ...
... of which one was no more and no less the "Antigravity-Dark Energy" mix by DJs Pharmakon & Generator which, although we have been woefully negligent in selling (having given out about 30 copies and, I believe, perhaps sold 2) they have somehow gotten a hold of. The comment given was something along the lines of "Ripping psytrance from start to finish! I love this mix!"
If you are lucky you'll get a copy this Saturday - just hope my burner doesn't crack under the stress I'm putting it through ... if you can't find it at the party, we give it out on Audiogalaxy - but you have to search for "antigravity" (or is it "anti-gravity"? I forget). A search for DJ Pharmakon, etc. doesn't seem to work.
OK really, enough blather, especially as reply to my own thread, in which only I've been talking ... ?
