It looks like a simpler version of Blue Cat's MB-7 (7-band mixer that hosts VSTs, AAX's, AUs), has tempo-sync, stereo width/spread for each band, etc. I can testify that IT works, but no idea about Metaplugin. These sorts of tools are excellent, particularly if you're a PT user and want to use your VSTs in PT11. I'm surprised I haven't seen Metaplugin mentioned over on the DUC/PT forums.
edit: actually, turns out there is a thread on the PT forums. One drawback is that Metaplugin doesn't host VST shells, so that means it can't host Waves. Other people are reporting some stability issues when hosting certain VSTs (e.g., Kontakt) in PT, but overall, the general consensus over there seems to be that it makes a nice subhost at a great price. Since Avid is apparently not allowing any third party VST>AAX wrappers, subhosts like Metadata, VEP, MB-7 is all we have (and, these actually work better than the Fxpansion wrapper ever did anyway).
