I don't get it.

one of my friends loves it, but the only differences I hear is some minor reconstruction and a bunch of distortion - it's just kind of annoying. don't get me wrong, I adore Daft Punk (specifically Homework-era, but Robot Rock isn't horrible). anyone here actually like it?

i know what you mean retrobyte...there's not much difference between the original and this....pretty disappointing mix if you ask me...i was kinda expecting something really funky etc.

I love Daft Punk, but what you said is characteristic of a lot of their productions. Lsten to their tracks and then listen to tracks that they've sampled and you will notice that it seems like Daft Punk don't do too much work. That's not the case with every song though, but some of the tracks that I thought were their best have turned out to be little more than edits of the samples they've used.

well i havnt heard it but if its similar to the original then i dont like it.

ps.. why do all modern rock bands have vocalists that sound the same? all moaney and miserable, and purposely off key because its cool to be lazy these days... i dont get it.. and i dont like it! its annoying!
