CDJ1000 Loop question
Hi guys,
I've only recently started using a CDJ1000 and i'm wondering if it's possible to make perfect loops? like say looping a phrase, so that the beat pattern will stay aligned and hence if i'm mixing on the loop it won't go out of sync when it reloops.
sure. hell, you can even keep tracks in sync with somewhat imperfect loops. but the answer is yes.
careful when starting a loop from the first beat, although it can be done, just 1 single frame of silence will cause the loop to vary in tempo when released, even if it sounds good.
yea it is possible, but keep your other hand on the pitch to correct it if it does go off

yes you can, again up to you how you do it.
if you can create the loop on the same beat it will stay constant and you can use it. the only thing is if you miss a frame it will cause it to get out of sync, but you have the option of slowly looking for that frame by using the jog wheel (vinyl mode). takes practice...but once you get it...it's awesome...

yea it takes practice, i would suggest saving them so you know they are perfect. when a loop is off, you can adjust the in and out points by pressing the in and out buttons, and adjusting the side of the plater [not touching the pad] until its perfect, then pressing the button again
