Just thought I'd let everyone know that Edgar V will be spinning at Stereo this Saturday night (12/15). For those that have never seen him, I highly recommend it! He spun a 3 hour set at Stereo about a month ago and it was unreal! Also, this is a good way to see him without having to go through the hassle of driving down to Space and dealing with the ass-holes that work the front door there.

Hope some of ya'll made it out to Stereo on Saturday night to see Edgar V... he was fucking awesome as usual! Stereo wasn't too packed, but that didn't even matter his set was so good! He came on at about 1:15 and didn't stop until 4:30. An awesome night!

who is the resident dj now?
So who is the resident DJ at sereo? I heard an ad in the radio that DJ Garfield is spinnin at some new club called "Mercury". Garfield was the last resident DJ at Stereo that I new of. Actually the only one, after they changed the name to Stereo. I personally don't dig DJ Garfield, but I've also noticed that Stereo never gets packed up liked it used to when it was called "Play". Spin to a boring crowd, and you may get some shitty music.

Stereo doesn't really have a new Saturday night resident dj yet. Garfield left the weekend before Thanksgiving and they've just been winging it the last 4 or 5 weeks. Last weekend they had Edgar V and the weekend before that they had David Padilla. I was never too in love with Garfield's music either but he is a great dj to watch. I have heard very good things about Mercury Lounge though, so I'm gonna check it out this weekend.
