Hey all
Finally back at work today after a few days in Amsterdam. Not feeling too bad so that's a bonus.
Spent a fortune over there but it was worth every penny...
For me it simply doesn't seem to matter who plays at the event, the atmosphere and sheer size of the place just gives you an amazing buzz.
We went in White tops and black kilts... which seemed to go down pretty well with the Dutch. Go chatting to loads of folk there and again they are very welcoming.
The Police had a good laugh when they tried to seach me and my mate on the way in the door...
Luke was a decent warm up DJ, some nice house tunes to get us going. David Guetta, or Daaaviiid Gawwrrr as the announcer said lol.... was cool. He is the fade in, fade out of tune master lol.
The megamix was amazing... I was up on a balcony overlooking the whole arena at this point and the place went off when it came on. I have listened to the MP3 when I got home and it sounds good but no where near what it was like with the crowd going nuts to every tune. I have attached a small video of Zombie Nation coming on during the megamix to the page below.
Armin was rocking the place so we headed back down onto the main floor... Marco V was caining all his own big tracks and Godd just blew the roof off.
Stayed for a fair bit of Jean but then left to make the train home just before the end...
All in all, it was another awesome Sensation for me. The DJ's may not have been the best in some peoples eyes but you just can't fault the size of that event. Its amazing...
Oh yeah Audio Bully's... well we all know they suck so lets not go any further on that.
Enjoy the pics and the videos...
Big tunes of the night....
Technotronic - Pump Up The Jam
Softcell - Tainted Love
Zombie Nation
Superstring
The Orange Theme
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit (BK Mix)
From a crowd point of view... the tracks above nearly blew the roof off.....
Cheers....
