No wonder Yves DuRuyter tracks are what they are! M.I.K.E. is behind almost every one of his productions. I just found this out recently.
Why does Mike give Yves all the credit? When I listen carefully to Yves DeRuyter tracks, I can now see where Mike has influenced each one. TBH... Yves sound can me kinda cheesy without the M.I.K.E. sound
Don't get me wrong, I've always liked Yves DeRuyter, but I wonder what these productions would sound like without Mike's influence.
Yves is working with L-Vee, Vincent Kriek and some other guys at the moment.
there's a new track coming up, called Into the Unknown.. wicked old school Bonzai-trancer. very good stuff, after a rather lame remix of Born Slippy

Has M.I.K.E. always been M.I.K.E. or did he change his alias from PUSH at one stage and drop that altogether? what i mean is did M.I.K.E. and PUSH ever co-exist? Does he still produce under PUSH at all and if so whats the difference in style?

The M.I.K.E. and Push aliases both go way back, and co-existed for many years. The difference in style used to be that Push was for the more commercial anthems while M.I.K.E. tracks were a little more experimental (e.g., the Future Platform releases), but that line has blurred recently with the release of big M.I.K.E. tracks like Turn Out The Lights and Massive Motion. The last Push single was Electric Eclipse last year so I don't think he's dropped that alias.
