now i remember where i heard it...your dj mix.
(listened to sample)
- i like the simple, almost minimalist approach to the hats/percs, yet there is still much to hear in the background
- do some more crazy breaks perc work in the break beat part. sorta like lost tribe - angel, maybe.
- you should a longer, more progressive transition into the second main melody
- sound/production wise, there is nothing in the track to make it stand out sonically, like some interesting fx trick, or sample, etc.
- you should have more tension transitions, such as quick changes from no (or filtered) percs/hats...
- what i really like bout this track is the interesting drive created by the melody itself, sounds almost epic but not quite. definatly a nice track to use in certain parts of a set.

that was some good tips.. especially that filter thing, its gonna keep me busy for a while, but its prolly worth it.. and ill take a look at quick changes of no (or filtered) percs/hats.. thanks

Right m8, taking a listen now.
Havent heard your other versions since Im new here.
You've got nice percussion work in the intro. Considering how little that happens at the intro its really nice to hear the few additions that keeps it interesting to listen to.
It gets a tad repetetive nearing the half of the track, but then you counter that by introducing a synth, so nice work there.
There seems to be some background voice sample at that point? Its quite hard to distinguish.
It's a tad repetetive track. But you keep introducing small touches from time to time so it works out well in the end.
Maybe you should keep this mix and do a new shorter mix of it?
Anyway, its a solid trance track.
Nice work! | thanks.. i might make a shorter mix

Very nice track, I really like teh synthlines, it's got that uplifting progressive sound I'm really into at the moment. This kind of music is really fun to listen to anytime, for me anyways. Really deep stuff you have going on here, I like how its nice and long.
