Helloooooo NYC TAs!!

I'm a Toronto TA coming down for the Paul van Dyk in Central Park gig on August 20th.

I am one of quite a few potentials who could be coming down for this event. Just thought I'd post to try and build a rapport so hopefully I can meet a bunch of you when I come down!

PvD is my fave and I'm SO looking forward to this!! Never been to NYC before!!

Anyone coming up here for Tiesto this week??

well holy shit...we were born on the same exact day...

Lemme just say... I went to both of the previous ones and had a blast and a half. After Summerstage 2003, I didnt think it could be topped, but it was in 2004, when 2000 people were going buckwild to PvD in pouring rain for 4 hours non-stop, and than continued on through the night at Spirit for the after party - FUCKING MENTAL!

I dont know how 2005 can top it, but Im definitley looking forward to it.

i think the only way it can be topped is if they do everything they did before (lasers, beach balls!!!!, etc) but pvd has to always top himself musically i think.. and of course it always has to depend on the crowd and crazy things happening- ie, like the dude from 2nd sun being the crazy roadie in front of the crowds.. someone streaking thru the crowd.. shit like that always makes it memorable and awesmoe..

i'm kind of torn about the rain- i LOVED it last year (the only reason i had fun, lord knows i hated his set) but i can't forget how fucking cold i was all night.. hmm.. i dont think i want it to rain thit year...


laura: we love meeting TAs outside ny!!! we'll have some sort of meeting (center stage, up front prally) before pvd begins so we mingle
