Dance of Tomorrow [acid trance]

The .ogg will play just fine in Winamp!

Ok, I tried to create a more traditional uncluttered acid sound this time... I think that the tune could use more crazy psy stuff, but I need your opinion also. Sometimes it's hard to review music you just wrote yourself :/

Personally, I think it needs to be sped up to 150bpm and the kick needs to be like that harsh "Euro-kick" with the 'tokk' sound- if that makes sense. I also feel the main bassline should not have any gaps in it, but should be consistent with one note after the other. The beat should be louder too...

Having said that though, I do really like the tune! I love the sounds you've used, and I feel you've very nearly knocked the psy-trance genre on the head!! Keep it up, I'd love to hear more from you!!!

Cheers!

Hi mate!Nice intro you have with the vocs.Bass is sounding ok (nice filterings) and hihats too.I think that you must level up your kick.Is too week.Maybe give it some dynamics too.
First change at 2:00..mmm..Something with the bass..for me get the frequency a little bit down.I love all the background sequencers that you use.Very cool Also the synth melodie is cool but a little bit repetitive sometimes.
Overall is a very good track for me,the way you use sequencers and synhts is vey good and my only complain is that kick.

Keep it up

That's reassuring to hear, I've been thinking of the kick myself... It sounds great on my sub, but there's maybe not enough snap in the sound...

Gotta mind this for the final version

Btw do you think that the tune needs more FX work, now there's almost none... I've been thinking of adding some crazy feedback & pitch modulation stuff for the final version.
