CDJ's or Turntables?

I've been practicing for a while with software (Traktor DJ Studio),

and now i want to get some cdj's or Turntables

If I get Turntables i'm planning to get also Serato or Final Scratch

also if I get serato or Final Scratch, does it really matter the quality of the turntable??

The Cdj's will be cheaper, , coz witht he other softwar ei need a new ocmputer and other stuff,
but is it really worth to spend about 1000$(Us Dollars) more?

Take in mind that I've been wanting to Dj since 5 or 6 years ago,

finally I think i'm gonna make the money, and I wanna make a good inversion, dont wanna make mistakes about it.

Thank You...

You're in the same boat as I am then. Though I think I've settled on wanting cdjs just due to the money factor. But yeah, I've decided I wanted to start djing and I want to get the good stuff to start off with. Though it'll cost a boatload

even with SSL or FS, you will need a good turntable. you´ll still be spinning a vinyl, only it will be a special one...

CDJs are a lot more expensive than turntables. and i wouldn´t recommend buying second hand, unless you trust the buyer. that´s the ind of thing you either buy from a friend, or new.

either way, GET GOOD STUFF.

depends

It really depends on how much your willing to go to be a DJ.

Naturally, vinyl and tables sound much better (and are much more classy) than CDJ. Of course, vinyl nowadays is alot harder to find, and burning CDs is easy while plating your own vinyl can cost hundreds. My suggestion is to look at how soon you want to be a DJ, and of course, what kind of music you are going to play.

If you want to DJ right now and for less hassle, go with CDJ.

If you want quality over quantity, go with tables.

A major reason I spin only vinyl, other than monetary constraints, is because I wouldn't be able to find 90% of the tracks I own on a digital download/cd website.

one quick question: "why do you feel you (by you i mean everyone) have to bash someone's choise of tools to mix?" whether they are cdj's or tt's (a computer program that automatically beat matches is not dj so it cannot be included)
