Where the hell do I buy CDs from when I live in Canada?
Local CD stores either have crap selections, and the few they do have are jacked up in price 30+.
Is amazon.ca my only realistic choice? And even there some of the cds go 25+.
How much are you Americans/Europeans/wherever you live paying for each CD. I'm not talking Ricky Martin $10 commercial CDS, im talking Renaissance, Global Underground, Bedrock style CDs in US Dollars/Euros with shipping and tax included, on average?
Gimme some recent specific examples, I'm really getting curious here.

You could always use I-tunes. I don't use it, but my friend does. I just give him $10, and he downloads a cd of my choosing. Burns a copy and gives it to me. But a trance cd around here (Southern California) costs around $15 (I would know, cuz I bought Darude - Before the Storm today). And I have yet to use Amazon for a cd, so I don't know anything about price, shiping, ect.

nah, im a cd whore in the sense that I like buying them and nicely placing them on my shelf with the pretty cases. Boxed sets are golden in my eyes! But hmm... darude for 15. Thats 18CAD but amazon.ca has it for 24. Call me a cheap bastard for complaining for 6 bucks, but when buying lots of cds, saving 6 bucks is huge!

You won't find any EDM at stores like HMV. There's this giant one here in montreal and they have like a tiny 4 meter long section called "trance", and most of it is house and techno compilations. You have to pick up your yellow pages and look for those obscure DJ record shops.

An average compilation/album here costs around £15, which is around 30 US dollars.

imo, amazon is the best...idk if amazon.ca is same price like amazon us but if u get two cds at a time u dont have to pay any shipping and the prices are better for the dance labels(gu, rennasaince) then in the store...
