Do you produce trance or house? If so, I am looking for you! I am holding a trance producers competition and I want you to enter! I perform a live trance/house set every other Friday right now (soon to be every week!) and what I need is an intense, inspiring, very DJ friendly OPENER!

A little about me and the mixes...... I have my own site that I use to make my live sets and mixes available for free download. I mix mostly unsigned trance & house producers from all around the world. I feel it is important for the incredible talent that is out there TO BE HEARD!
Enough said, hit me with some Trance openers for my show! I will be selecting two winners to alternate weeks.
RULES:
1. This must be an original production.
2. MUST be DJ friendly!
3. No longer than five minutes.
4. Prefer to not see loops used but if you do it with style then why not!
5. All ages welcome to enter!
6. All songs must be submitted no later than August 31, 2005 so that gives you just over one month.
7. You may enter as many times as you would like!
8. HAVE FUN!!!!!!
PRIZE: Two trance winners and two house winners will alternate weeks being the opener for my live mix show!

Hey. It seems you have contradicted yourself and made some rules that dont follow the general trance feel. Firstly, you say make it DJ friendly but then say it cant be longer than five minutes. A club track ranges from seven minutes to twenty minutes. Five minutes is usually reserved for that crap on the radio . Secondly, you say you cant use loops. I'm confused about what you mean. Do you not want people to use drum loops, or no loops period? If the latter is true, then it definantly wont be trance or house. To get a groove going, you must use loops to get the constant dance feel to it. I'm not condoning using drum loops because I think everyone should make thier own drum patterns rather than leeching off of other people . You cant make such odd and vague rules though. Fix the rules and maybe people will enter.
You know.....it's simply beyond me WHY I would want a 20 minute intro...... But anyway......Ok here you.

to be honest i dont think people want to sit down and spend lots of time on a track just so you (a stranger; somebody they have never met before) can use it as an intro to their set.
Sorry, but also check out my website in my sig and listen to the sampels of the songs in the downloads section, if u like any of them u can use them to your hearts content.
i just tryed to look up discography in the dictionary, and i cant see it, what does it actually mean? i assumed from users registered at discogs that it was the vinyl/cd/whatever that you owned.
