Leftfield - Leftism Appreciation thread

Listening to this just now, and whilst reading the CD inlay it's now 10 years old! To celebrate its 10th year anniversary lets all rave how stupendously good this CD is!!!! Who's with me?????

Song of Life! Can you believe this track is from 13 years ago?

Leftism is possibly the best EDM album I've ever heard... certainly in my Top 3 albums of all time. Sheer class all the way through. Leftfield really knew how to shake a dancefloor as well as crafting intelligent, innovative music.

Rhythm & Stealth is also very very good. It's more patchy, but the good stuff really is just that.

Oh, and don't forget it opened the door to mainstream acceptance for progressive/trance.

Fucking hell yes. Song Of Life always gives me goose bumps, and just might even make me weep a little. It's not my favorite album ever, but it could damn well be #2. Looking back, I think Leftism really changed my perception of dance music.

What's that new Illumination promo single about though? Thought they broke up? Either way, it doesn't sound like old school Leftfield at all...

A place where music releases aren't kept to oneself.

It's on discogs. Appeared on p2p networks four months ago, or more.

I saw it on Discogs, but it must be a pretty hot promo.

I gave it a quick listen a while back, sounded like any average bog-prog these days.

I bought the album after loving 'A final hit' on the Trainspotting soundtrack. The sound was different but still good to chillout to which I liked, and still do. Great album.
