Have some audio CDs and want to check source
Is it possible to tell if a 320 kbps LAME MP3 if different from a WAV usaully any sort of programs? I ask because I'm trying to determine whether if a batch of audio CD-Rs I made came from an 320 kbps LAME MP3 scource or did I indeed made it from the orighinal WAV (I don't remember, as this was about 2 years ago). I only have the batch of 320 kbps LAME MP3s and access to the CD-R copies. The originals are buried somewhere in a cellar and we probably won't be finding them any time soon. Plus, they're all out-of-print foreign (Farsi/Persian) material. :-( Thanks for any info.
PS: I heard of a program called AutCDtect that can tell if an audio piece was from a lossy source, but doesn't this get difficult as you go past MP3 LAME 192 kbps or Ogg Virbis -q7?
