what CPU ?

pentium 4, 3 ghz...

in theory, p4's cant burn out cause they have protection from over-heating....

i saw it with my own eyes....i tried to close my box 3 hours ago because i was bored of its noise and after 5 minutes my pc went down

i opened my box again and it started by itself after 5 minutes

Seems like the heat isn't only having effect on your cpu .... your brain been in for a checkup lately?

What I do to keep my pc cool is I take off the case and put one of those minifans beside it, keeps it from over heating and shuts down sometimes!

This is why this side of my case is now off and I've had to drop my overclock by 200mhz
