How is 2005 looking? Good trance year? Bad trance year? In the middle?
Everyone knows that last year sucked.

well as far as your show on Food Network goes...i've really enjoyed a lot of the episodes. i liked the one where you talked about juicy fruit, since that was an old fav or mine, and also the one on laughy taffy. off to a much better start than plain old mr goodbar and jelly bellys last year...

It's allright I guess. There's been a few good tunes so far, but then again there's been loads of crap too (like usually).

Hell yeah! That show rocked.
Oh, and Trance hasn't been especially great. There have only been a few tunes I've actually enjoyed. In addition, there have been way too many remakes released.

I sure agree on that, although that trend already has been setted in 2004.
I cannot say it sucks, but I also am not very happy with 2005. It's average for me right now. Although I like the developments in the more 'techtrancy'-sections a lot. As for hardtrance....I have to admit most releases I like are from the UK and NL instead of Germany or Swiss....

It's been an okay year, not the best. I really enjoyed 2003 and 2004, especially tracks like:
Envio - Time To Say Goobye (Original & Passiva Remix)
Probspot - Foreplay (What an amazing tune, I still listen to it a lot)
Micro de Govia - Voller Sterne (Super 8 Remix) (Wow..simply beautiful)
Oceanlab - Satellite (Love the vocals, anything Justine does is magical)
Smith & Pledger - Forever (Vocal Mix) (Love the vocals in this one from Carrie Skipper, she's right up there with Justine Suissa in my book)
Robert Nickson - Spiral (Still one of my favorites from 04)
Endre - Kallocain (Robert Nickson Remix) (Addicting melody, nice Robert Nickson touch to the Original)
Fictivison vs. Phynn - Escape (Melodic, energetic and wonderful)
Recluse - Yellow Moon (Original & Octagen Remix) (I feel in love with this tune last summer, very mesmerizing to say the least)
Okay the list goes on and on but 03/04 were great. There's been good tracks this year but not as memorable so far as those. Hopefully by the fall there will be tunes released that match their quality.
