Wow. What a great night. I seriously needed that seeing as how this past week was finals week for my first summer session. Didn't really help that I had two papers due yesterday and one final to take. I'm more than happy that I made it out for this one.
I showed up with Tina at around opening but didn't get in till about 15-20 minutes in.
Met up with a few TA's, even though most were across the street at Ferry. To list the ones I remember (I'm sorry to anyone that I don't mention): kadomony (Where DON'T I bump into you, man ), sot (Chris. Gotta hand it to you. You are the MAN with ID'ing tracks. You're also an awesome guy. Was nice seeing you again.), DJ_Buddha (Had a great time cracking jokes and generally going crazy over some of the tunes and then the conversation before we parted. Sorry that they didn't play 'On A High'.), EliPsE (Sorry I didn't get to talk to you much. Was great seeing you once more after our age-old meeting. Let's party again some time!), LordQuinnTrance (Used to see you at most events I attended but then either you or I kinda fizzled. It was great partying with you tonight. Sorry you were getting crappy pics.), and distante (Always a pleasure.)
There was one dude that came up to me who was closer to the DJ booth then I was. I'm really sorry but I didn't overhear anything but what you said first, regarding your name, which was "DJ ..." Leave me a reply, k?
ID'ing the tracks was pretty fun as pretty much sot, DJ_Buddah and myself were switching off nearly every other song and giving an ID within a few moments. Very fun and cool, guys.
Most of the tracks that I wanted to hear in the club were played. I passed my Sidekick up to Dave and it said "Are you guys going to play Markus Schulz feat. Departure - Without You Near?" To which he wrote "Yes we are going to play everything!" And, of course, they nearly DID play everything.

I basically went NUTS when they played 'Without You Near'. Then when Markus dropped his remix of it later on, I had a great time bobbing my head and bouncing around. Very nice track, guys. Also, I found myself singing along to nearly every song with lyrics. It was so great, I thought it was worth losing my voice over it.
And of course, MAJOR props to the DJs. Without you, I'd still be sitting cooped up in my summerhouse reading a damned book on linguistics or some crap like that.
All the pictures last night were taken by Tina so... I'm yanking them from her LJ post.
I still stay Dave Dresden makes THE funniest faces in the club.

The SCHULZ making his appearance and getting down to business.

The group pic that was taken at the beginning of the night will show up later, guys that were in it.
