Question Ripping Voices from songs

Does anyone know what is a good program for taking vocals from songs with out having the track behind it? I need to do a remix, but I want to it my way, by ripping the voices. Thanks for your help.

very hard to do that man, either though it is possible with very good EQ's, but the quality wont compare to a proper acapella!

cheers

Use these controls to insert vBcode

Well, you can't just use vocals as you like! Some of the vocals are copyrighted and cannot be used without the artist/labels permission. Try emailing the artist.

Technically you CAN'T make an equalizer isolate only the voice. The music blends with the frequencies of the voice. It'll just be a crappy clip that you can't use for any high quality productions.

Try googling for "acapellas4u" or something like that. Forum with tons of acapellas. Another tips is to keep you eyes peeled for remix contests. The artists gives out a pack with samples, often containing vocals.

Why do you really want to reproduce something allready made? Why not let your creative juices flow and make something new!?

You simply don't understand how audio works. It's always gonna be shitty when you rip it off of a song.

guys guys...!!

Thought this forum was supposed to help people??

HERE is a link to help you out.

Have a read and download the Extra Boy plug-in.
Its free and will do a decent job - but as the others say it isnt great quality.
It will do though, until you are good enough to get signed and artists are throwing their acapellas at you to remix their stuff!!

MP.
