[breaks] MOB - skin thin (full length vocal mix) ***updated***

Well I sat down yesterday and finished this nice breaks track. It's the full thing and would be suitable for anyone doing a breaks set looking for some filler tracks. I think the bass came out a bit too heavy but I have only listened to it on headphones so far. If you download could you please say what you though of the tune, you guys have been very helpful in the past.

***updated*** Well thanks for the reviews, I have tweaked things slightly (probably not enough) and decided that it could use some vocals so added the ramblings of Mr Kennedy over the top of the song. I think it sounds kind of cool. Improvement or no?

Here it is 192kbit (7:16 min):

surprised this got no reviews yet... TAs usually jump all over breaks tracks.

this is tite so far, i like the percussion do this, very panned, i feel engulfed into the song, which is great. distorted saw sounds fine, you could bring it to the foreground a bit. i like that airy pad going around in the background, gives it a great feel.

the beat itself is a little problematic... the kick is too bassheavy and creates too much attention towards itself. would be nice to hear some more percussion with the breakbeat as well, like some openhh and some cymbol rides or something. drum varaitions would be nice as well.

no bassline??

with a few fixes, this track can be sounding great.

Very helpful review thanks. I did notice that the base (which is actually the saw) is too weak and the drum kick too heavy but that can be adjusted which would hopefully balance out the track a bit more. I might raise the pitch slightly too?

hey!

nice track! has a dnb feeling connected with breaks!
maybe you could turn up the kick a bit! good use of percs...
you should add some freqs in the high mid range...maybe an additional synth or some eq-qork...

nice track, although i'd prefer a version without vocals...
