I tried to cheer myself up today by buying an 800W Pioneer amp and dual 600W Pioneer subs mounted in a sealed box to replace my old 500W Sony amp and single 200W Bazooka sub.

It didn't cheer me up... but you can hear me coming from three blocks away, now. Only cost me $350 including installation. Got it on sale for like $200 off the retail price. I'm done buying car stereo stuff, now. I put $350 into the deck, $200 into the speakers, and a total of $550 into the two sets of subs and amps. $1100 for a car stereo is enough.

If I were to put a loud sound system in a car it would have to be in a really nice car such as a BMW/Merc/Audi.

Why? You can move them between cars easily. When I sell my car, I will NOT sell my stereo. I'll put the stock radio back in and buy a set of cheap front and rear speakers to throw in there.

Gutted. I thought this was going to be a story about how you were driving in your car and heard something in the trunk, only to open it up and discover that it was in fact the sasquatch that you found out in the mountains.
