Frankie bones just wasn't as energetic as in his earlier gigs. lolz, I'm reviewing a party that happened more than 2 years ago
And oh yea, Amazura ballroom, I still have the flyer for it. The event was called Sneaky. Appropriately named, considering all the shady people there heh, and it ended early because some kid got stabbed. Lemme remember, warm water on tap, but great visuals.
Although it's kinda interesting I started seeing a lot of ravers have migrated to the Trance parties in 2004 like the PVD events in Roxy. But slowly, the colorful ufo wearing ravers with the glowsticks disappeared from the trance events and in 2005, I don't see them anymore in clubs. I guess everyone has to grow up |
i dont see too many anymore either and yeah 'sneaky' was the name of the party... pvd at roxy is where i saw a few last last year.. im not sure where the warehouse parties in brooklyn went or where all the ravers from back then chill now.. but like you said most have grown up since turning 21 all i really do is hit up the mainstream clubs although theres still a part of me that kinda likes the underground parties (however i was not a raver but i did like dressing down ie, comfy kicks and a light t-shirt n hat and all the room on the dance floor) although im too old for it thats somethin i was into in my teen years but i dont regret 'raving' if thats even what i was doing.. i never had bracelets and a pacifier or huge oversized ufos lol i mostly dressed like a skater with DC apparel head to toe lol...
