EFX 500 Midi/Abelton Live
Has anyone used the EFX 500 via midi output to record, if so what program do you use.
Also can abelton live be used to record?

To record what???
The EfX outputs midi time code only.
I have used it ocassionally to sync to my atari for grabbing an awkward sample, but thats all you can do with the midi side of the efx

I use Ableton to record my mixes. I strongly advise you NOT to, because the files are massive and it takes forever to make them listenable, but it still works.
