I'm in a little of a try everything mood this week, cuz I'm expecting to go back to songwriting in a week or two.

I'd like the name of a good IDM album, (no compilations please). Preferably from 2003 or later.

The darker the sound the better.

Try and find 'Miss Bass - Further progressions over tea & biscuits' somewhere.. It's a great amateur mix with quite a fair bit of IDM in it. May be a bit hard to come by though as she removed it from her site, but you could be lucky on some p2p site.

Some would say it's DrillNBass, some IDM. I'd say those are really just made up terms, especially the former, to describe the same thing basically. But this has a lot of DrillNBass and ambient songs . You should try DrillNbass anyway, methinks most things labeled "IDM" are a steaming pile of crap anyway, like Black Dog, Cylob, or Selected Ambient Works 1.
