[BitTrance] The Origin - Face It

Hey guys,

Yet another one of those BitTrance productions! I'll be happy if you listen to The Origin - Face it for me. Just klick on the Music link in my signiture.

Any feedback will be gladly taken in, it's still in production so changes can still be made. This is the third mixdown.

kind regards,

Nick

Music is as universal to people as breathing. We've probably been at it since before we even started talking. Immaging two cavemen smashing away at a peace of flint to make a spearhead. It wouldn't take long for them to learn te synchronise the sound. And there you have it, the words first percussive band.

Music has survived wars, famines, the plague and many other things and has evolved with man across many cultures. Dance music is just the next step in the evolutionary chain. My guess is that it will probably be with us untill we are extinced.

sounds pretty progressive typeof trance to me,

Got some energy there...nice groove..

drums & percs sound nice and tight, maybe make kick a touch deeper + louder.

that VST acid line in background is from Vangard right?

maybe you could tweek it a bit t0 sound more original though.

good tune

finish it!

i'm not a fan of this genre so i ceep it technical.

basdrum/bassline should be be more deeper! it misses the warm feeling this kind of music is all about! so try to fix that! .. it will warmify your song a lot!.

stereo: i dont hear a lot of it!.. tro to put an stereo expander or somthinng like that on it!

also the hihatz can use a bit more eq'ing..

greetz

Nice tune man. Good atmospherics. Driving beat... all good really.

Definately feeling the lack of stero too. Feels very centred at times and a bit flat.

The mastering could do with more punch in general, the kick especially feels kinda dull. Something with more click would work well with this style or music.

What is bit trance anyway? It just sounded sorta progressive/goa to me.

Well guys thanks for the feedback!

Just learn't a few things about using monitor speakers. These need to be applied to this track I reckon. I'v been doing a lot of experimenting lately with some sterio effects, band-comp and lot's of stuff. Ill aplie them to this tracks tomorrow for you all to enjoy.

BitTrance is a network of DJ's and producers from all around the world. We help eachother to get the right sound down. We have a website, forum, sample bank, music sharing and all cool stuff like that.

Kind regards,

Nick
