I have that mixer and I still have not figured out how to record from the decks other than using that POS Microsoft Recorder.

Iv got that mixer too! lmao.
Anyways its simple i use audobe audition to record, all you have to do is have the switches on the back of the mixer correct and in the prefences of the program your using select the usb device.
Also do you get a problem that whenever the input on the computer from the mixer is enabled their is a hum and you cant do anything, not even turning down the master volume changes it.

The quality of the sound is pretty good because it stays %100 digital from the mixer to the computer so its not going from analog to digital to analog to digital just to get recorded. Although i have to say i dont realy like the curves of the faders though.

Chances are, the club where they will be spinning will either have a DJM-600, or a Xone92. So USB is not an option.
Plug from "Rec Out" or a second "Main Out" on the back of the mixer into "Line in" on a laptop would be the easiest
