How many DJs here are still at university/college?

Hi All

How many people on these forums who are DJs or who mix are still at University / College?

Are any of you at Res? and do you have turntables in your rooms?

I might be in Res next year and want to know if it's possible and practical to have turntables, mixer etc. in your room...

Thanks
A.

I'm a university student. And I used to have my decks in my student room thingy. Moved them back home (at parents house)tho, can make more noise there plus I have more free time in weekends.

I have my turntables in my room. My roommate doesn't mind.. i don't blast the music TOO loud during quiet hours, so its not a big deal. people on my floor think they're cool... so they don't mind as long as i don't play it too loud.

As for space, i have a big enough desk to fit my turntables and my computer on the very corner. sometimes it's a hassle to have the computer in such a tight space, but i think its worth it. whenever i get stressed with studies, i just go spin some tunes. sometimes i wish i had a laptop though.

I'm also in halls and I have my technics in my room. It's not a hassle at all, the only trouble is that at the moment I'm home for Christmas and I can't mix for 3 weeks!

like quddha I have my techs and a computer on my desk, whick will only just fit. I just have to make do with using £400 mousemat!
