The Gallery offers late more late night tomfoolery with another typically diverse three room event, as we present ‘Past, Present & Future: Part 1’. On Friday 5th August Turnmills welcomes a heady mix of European masters to entertain the main room masses. American superstars Gabriel & Dresden return to the scene of their groundbreaking UK debut, with more exclusive cuts set to take clubland by storm. G&D have since followed up ‘When the Rush Comes’ (as Motorcycle) - the worldwide smash which first brought us to their attention with yet more floor-filling monsters. The latest track ‘Arcadia’ has been championed by the likes of Pete Tong and Nic Fanciulli, and their reputations as DJs have equally hit new heights with their Ableton Live shows. Also on the bill is Sander Van Doorn, the latest production whiz from Holland. His tracks have already become firm favourites on The Gallery dancefloor and with the likes of Tiesto, Ferry and Armin and he backed up his production prowess with an awe-inspiring DJ debut at Turnmills back in March so you can expect more of the same this time round!! Still on the trance tip, The Gallery welcomes Blank & Jones for their UK Debut. These emerging producers are part of the new generation coming through the ranks and they look set to follow the likes of fellow German hero Paul Van Dyk right to the very top. This massive ‘Future’ main room affair is completed by a man who is another rising star from the studio. Over the past few years, Martjin Ten Velden has produced a phenomenal amount of tracks of a consistently high standard. Working closely with production partner Mark Knight, Martjin has well and truly put his musical stamp on the house scene, making him one of the hottest properties around at the moment.
The relentless action doesn’t stop there though as the backroom features the return of Nic Fanciulli’s acclaimed Fandango session in the ‘Present’ Room. In his absence this month, Nic has called upon three of north England’s biggest underground house merchants. From Tribal Sessions, get deep, down and tribal with the mighty Greg Vickers and Krysko and from Back 2 Basics, it’s that Bobby Peru trickster Paul Woolford. A main room line-up in itself and a sure fire guarantee to be one of the best backroom events at Turnmills of 2005. Completing this monster line-up will be Alistair Whitehead and Lee Davey who’ll be searching deep within their record boxes as they rock out the house classics in the ‘Past’ Room. Immense.
