OMG i hate fucking pigs.

So im chilling last night with some friends and we grab a case of Molson from the local petro canada, then proceed to pop a few open before heading downtown.

Of COURSE, out of nowhere, a fucking ugly bitch pig comes out asking to see our ID's, there were 5 of us, luckily the other 2 hid their beers but the rest of us werent that lucky....that stupid c_nt handed us a $118 ticket!!

Now, there is NO way im paying, though i would like to legally somehow win this, i dont see there is much chance against the government...

...the only thing i know is that drinking in a PUBLIC place is punishable...thats what the ticket was for....BUT we were on a PRIVATE parking lot, some minimall's parking lot, does anyone know if thats in my favour? There is no way a minimall parking lot is public...



Any tips/suggestions are recommended, i feel like looking up info on this bitch and slowly kill her.

I think you'd have to look into what constitutes private and public territory. I'm no lawyer but if I could offer you a bit of advice I'd say just pay the ticket and move on. Good luck, man.

Go to court, the worst that can happen is you paying half and the best is that the cop wont show up at court for such a stupid little thing

Its even illegal to drink a beer on your own balcony, even if its considered a private space.

As long as we see you drinking alcohol (not hidden by a plastic bag or whatever) outside you're guilty.

Hi Malek, ehrm...thats not true, in private spaces the cops first tell you to put it away if its visible...BUT only on truly public spaces (parks, roads etc) can they give you a fucking ticket. And dude there is NO WAY you cant have a beer on your balcony, at least not get a ticket for it.

I still say its BS...ill try just telling the judge look im a student, had a hard days work and was just trying to relax next to the dep with a few "chums", hopefully he wont be an asshole.

So the cop's a bitch because she was doing her job and ticketed you for comitting a crime? You're not supposed to drink in public, period. Grow up and learn some responsibility.

By the way, the minimall's parking lot is considered public, as is the mall itself, shops, streets, parks, and basicly anywhere that isn't a drinking establishement or someone's home. "in public" isn't a reference to publicly or privately owned property. You have no case.
