I've been a very good girl this summer and have avoided tanning beds/laying out and oiling up this entire sunny season. So, basically im as white Micheal Jackson.
To avoid my usual awesome pastiness I have been using a plethora of tanning sprays to get a bit of colour. But, this morning I decided to step it up a notch and get my first ever spray on tan for the wedding im going to this weekend. You know the kind in the booth where you wear a shower cap, close your eyes and hold your breath? haha Im laughing at myself just thinking about it. Now as im sitting here waiting for the colour to kick in im left wondering, was this a mistake? I have this crazy feeling im gonna dry like a zebra! Hot.
Please share your spray tan/ bad tan experiences!

I'm fairly white/olive coloured, but I tan extremely easily so after a couple days out on the beach this summer I have this perfect swim trunk tan line. Dark then white, right across my lower stomach.. grr!
i have heard good things and bad things about this stuff.
one bad thing was that once you do it it fades differently all over and that is what causes funny patterns. so pretty much you either live with the pattern or keep going back.
i have been white for so long that if i did get a tan i would look weird. but let me know what it ends up looking like. i might consider it one day.

I have always wanted to try this, but I am afraid it would end up turning out fake looking.

I tried this for pride.
THe good:
- Cheap. $30 got me good color in one go.
- Quick - only took a couple of seconds.
- No skin damage.
The bad:
- As with every self tanner, it can come off on your clothes. It was stinking hot on pride weekend and I sweat half of it off.
- I had really awful bits around my toes, heels, and wrists.
- It fades horribly!! Totally uneven fading.
- the actual process is really awkward. You're in an enclosed booth, meaning you have to breathe in the self tanner! that weirded me out.
I think if you got it done a few times, you could figure out how to apply the creme such that your joints don't get blotchy. that was my biggest annoyance with it.

It's so obvious when somebody has a fake tan.

Definetly noticable when someone has had a mist-on tan. You go orange, lol.

I am a faithful member of my Hamilton tanning salon (although I haven't been in like 3 months so I guess that's not that faithful actually - ha.)
I always get a nice one when I go but beware of ass-burning. It hurts. A lot.
I have never tried the mist-on ones but I've actually heard nothing but good things so I'm sure it will look fantastic Hilary!
