I don't really know actually why they made them...I think it's part of the whole nostalgia...that's how they were in the "old days" and keep trying to bring back the past...I'm not sure really

my guess would be yes...that's the reason they made us tie a knot in the back of our jerseys when playing football back in high school

I think the bottom picture is fine... the other ones look a little weird.
