My first trance track [ 192Kpbs] Crits Please :)

Arite ppl, being browsing this forum for a few months and its so helpful. I've being producing music on the computer for a short time and this is my first effort at making a trance track... Crits/Comments appreciated. Its not finished yet, as i'm struck as to where to take it next, i wanna include some breaks and i was hoping to get some clean guitar melody in it somewhere but i dont have the equipment to record so looks like i'll have to wait with this one and just keep tweaking it and tweaking it till i'm happy

Thanks.

Wow!
Not bad for your first track, definately. My first tune is crap compared to this :P
The hats are a bit dominant compared to the rest. The kick is a little thin. Maybe you should filter out the lower frequencies of the lead because they interfere a little with kick and bass if I can hear it properly.
nevertheless, good work, very promising

thanks for the tips! will try and filter out those lower frequency's in the lead, may help as i just cant seem to get the kick to sound better, compression is too hard for me at the moment, still learning about it I'll lower the volume on the hats as well see if that takes any effect.

I'll post an update soon

Thanks.

Btw cyberneticka listened to some of your stuff and its class!

Yerp, I'd be more than content with that.
I'd still turn down the hats a little. And maybe you gotta boost the upper frequencies of the lead a little.

It's very hard to find something to criticize about this. Sounds well polished and all. Like sparkunian said, let us know when the finished version is ready. Looking forward to it

Hey, listening to the second version of your track.

Very nice for a first effort, it instantly reminds me of something but I cant put my finger on what, any tracks give you inspiration for this one?

Don't know what the first version sounded like but this sounds nice and clean in quality, good job on that. Definately a great effort if your new to this. All the sounds fit together perfectly, the hats are a bit too high tho, just turn them down a tad and that will be fine.

It was a bit repetitive in the end for me though, maybe add just another element in there, a key change for a bit or something like that.

Excellent work though well done and I echo others, would like to hear a full version.

tnx! i didnt expect this reception i am trying to come up with another melody for it as it does get boring as it goes on, i'm gonna add some FX's in it to make it more interesting. I've turned the hats down more now and it sounds so much better
