It goes back to the 60s and the US government's COINTELPRO operation. Undercover gov. agents found that many rock bands and concerts often carried a strong anti-Vietnam war message, which spread the ideology and helped gain more support for the peace movement.

wow...even less logic..because seriously... are we still in the 60's? i think we have learned a few things here and there...but most of all.... since when do we hold party's out in the mountains when promoters spend $$$$ against anti-iraq? ok... lil far fetched... but i can see what you're saying

I didn't start the rumor. I don't find it very logical either. I know there's been trouble on that block of land before. There was a raid their once prior.

I hate to say this, but it's not just Utah. This could have just as easily have happened in Kansas, Tennessee, Pennsylvania or Alaska. It is sad, but pretty much anywhere out of the major cities, this would be probably be found, especially in the red states.
