Hello everyone,

This is my first track that I have ever submitted to the Trance Addict forums. So, I don't really know what to say. So just listen. LOL.

The bass could use more volume at times... but I like this.

I'm gonna have to listen a few times to make up my mind. It seems to be fairly basic, but if this is the first trance tune you've ever produced then you should be proud. The emotion is captured, but you should go all out and introduce more percussion elements and maybe even a vocal or two to keep the intro buildup interesting.

No, i've been producing for quite a while. And if the bass was any louder it would cause clipping. And I myself find using vocals to be cliche (unless I have a full vocal track to work with), just like long snare rolls, and everything else that has been used 10,000 times in every song. Just wanted to clarify that.

But, anyways thanks for your opinion!

Turning up the volume itself isn't necessarily the solution... EQing the parts differently is traditionally the drill in my books (then again, I'm not a long-time producer - prolly not even your status). Still, I liked it.

When I said maybe a vocal or two, I apologize if I'm trying to get things cliched. It was simply a comment along the lines of adding more quirky effects (anything from pads, additional percussion, to noises, to yes... vocals).

Okay. I see what you mean with the EQing. And now maybe I might have to go back again! But i'll wait for some other opinions also.

Yeah. I know what you mean, but I intentionally wanted to keep it somewhat simple, and not mumble-jumbled to where it totally ruins the euphoria of the moment. If you get what I mean. LOL.

As a matter of fact I do. So much trance is getting way too big for itself - packing as much frequency in one space that the ear can handle; overloading itself with a tsunami wave of sound. Going back to the roots of trance can sometimes yield some interesting results.

What software/hardware you using?

FL Studio 5, with Z3ta, and Vanguard.
