Very nice track here. The background synths are very well produced, nice bass.

Wow!
This track has potential... nice percussion! you should really balance out the sounds, the intro lead and that first layer of the bassline is way too high.

Also the bassline sounds a bit wierd when it goes up!
The main lead could use a diffrent sound... warmer and with a bit more atmosphere!

Otherwise it's a solid production. You've really got the compression going on on the beats!

Thank you! I thought I wouldn't get any more comments.

I might try to balance those levels again, though I feel the track then lacks low-mid and mid frequencies... But it might be just my bad speakers. The bassline may sound a bit weird when it goes up, but I wanted some originality to it. And you're right, the main 'lead' could use a warmer sound... just that it would be a lot harder to mix.

burned your tune to my potable player without listening to it first...

cos the last tune you put up here was very much to my tastes

(listened thru headfones)

this one is equally good. bass is a nice sound, i like a lot!
it sounds like you have been building your 'sound' for a while cos it has the same vibe that you last track had.

with regards to your eq. i would say it suits the track. i would play this as it sounds...

the main lead is a nice sound but possibly a bit loud in the mix. other than that i think the track sounds great. i would try using a thick saw for your lead, that doesnt sound too bright... so it remains subtle.

great stuff.

rich

I'm thinking - nice kickdrum The percs sounds nice, and there's a nice drive to the track. The bassline kinda dissapointed me though...
2mins into the track: This sounds smooth and relaxed. But I'm missing some more elements. A piano, some synths or maybe a second tech-bassline

Ok, here's the break. Hmm.. Needs more than this IMO. Some energy. And those pluck-sounds are similar to those earlier in the track.

I can hear that you know how to get the clean sound, and you're talented. This one just wasn't my type of music

Wow... A thick sounding trancer here that isn't gonno blow me utterly away from this planet with insane anthems (don't get me wrong, I like that too).

The chill-out feel of this track is rather relaxing. Everything from the pads, to the tiny saws - I like the fact that the saw is subtle.

Breakdown - melodically moving without getting bigger, louder, harder.

Nice... a chilled trancer that's a tad uplifting with small ibiza elements.

Heh, I would be suprised if it was. I used to listen to/make melodic trance also, but eventually got a bit tired of it. Every track started to sound the same to me. But then came prog... (not that this is that proggy) Anyways, thanks for your comment Alex! And the pluck sound in the breakdown is the same, just playing octave lower.

Four_On_Four-er: Thanks for commenting!

Really like this, nice and chilled but has that kinda pulsing feel to it.

Production is excellent, perc all fits perfectly and the melodies work.

The square lead that comes in at 1:28 sounds a little (but only a little!) bit jerky - probably not the best word to describe it but hey... I think putting something like 3/4 beat delay on it would make it kinda flow a bit more and give it a bit more rhythm. I'm not often a fan of square leads so I can be really picky about them! I think this one works, but maybe could work a little better...

Haven't really got any other comments.

7/10

(Scale: 0 = don't bother, 1-3 = needs work, 4-5 = nearly there, 6-8 = releasable, 9-10 = outstanding)
